We had two Concorde RG35s go bad in the first year or so on
John Halle's Legacy and upon doing some research (better late than never)
we found that they do not like being charged higher than 13.8 volts. We
had been charging at 14.2. We reset the B&C regulator to 13.8 volts
and several years and several hundred hours later everything is doing just
fine. As they say, "When all else fails the instructions are probably
still in the wastebasket." Around the shop I use a regulated power
supply that puts out 13.8 volts instead of a regular automotive battery
charger.
