I wonder what experiences people have had with the various units. I was considering the Flight line electric system. Output is 10 000 BTU compared to 18 000 BTU for a typical engine driven unit. They have an inverter with a 48 volt output to push the system to 18 000 BTU. What BTU rating is sufficient for really hot conditions like our Australian summer? Would like to hear about you experience with different systems and performance or ideas about the pros and cons of electric vs. mechanical drive.
