One way of guaging required amount of Hysol for a specific task is to refer
to manual for closure of elevator surfaces or other early chapter on flaps
etc.  There you can find suggested amounts.  Measure the bonding area in
that closure and extrapolate the number of ounces needed for your current
project based on area to be bonded.
