I feel like the LML is my aviation family.  I know it is not a Lancair, which I still love to fly and am keeping. 

The first flight was by Len Fox and lasted 45 minutes.  Everything went very well.  We need to adjust the elevator and rudder trim tab excursions, look for any other squawks and go again tomorrow. 

It has been a long time coming.  The saga continues with the FAA who has granted us permission to begin flight testing under an Exhibition airworthiness certification.  The FAA is still considering our latest rounds of appeals in DC to grant the amateur built status for N89CL.  If the FAA rules that I qualify for amateur built status, then N89CL will be granted an amateur built certificate.
