I just love my mags, Iridium plugs and O-320 stock engine. With a SkiTec starter and B&C battery and the plugs gaped at .024 in (according to the gapping tool supplied by Champion). My plane starts on the first blade when either hot or cold.

I choose mags because:

Any particular reason you choose LSE over the P-mag?
.
.
1. P-Mag had no history, no experience and users that they could reference (except for one aerobatic guy that had experience with one E-Mag).  There was no hi compression experience.

Mags have a lot of experience.

2. They are big and I have no room.

Mags are just the right size.

3. There is no timing data (like the LASAR). BUT, I do like the configuration switches on the units.

Mags always time just right at 25° BTDC all of the time. (except for starting)

4. Regardless of how irritating Klaus is, the LSE system is proven although not simple.  Klaus races!

I have the fastest stock 320 on the west coast and the 2nd fastest on the east coast according to the races. And that is with mags.

5.  If I want, I could adjust the timing of the LSE system.

I adjust my timing every year to 25° BTDC. That is just where I want it.

The heat should not affect ROMs.

The heat does not effect the mags.
