1) Advanced timing will result in lower than normal EGTs (and TIT) and
higher than normal CHTs.
2) The timing SHOULD have been checked by the installer prior to engine start
the first time. How it came from TCM should not have been assumed to have
been correct. There are too many factors there.
There were unusually high ICPs during this time and only time will tell if
any specific damage has been done, but hopefully not in that short period.
