Bob:
Yes, FF = fuel flow.
If the claim is that altering timing with electronic ignition will increase HP, then I have a problem with that. I have a neat little chart out of Taylor which shows HP change related to timing changes and it is underwhelming how much change is NOT seen as timing is altered.
Just what "mods" are claimed to up the HP.

Walter, The modified engine is not turboed. Define FF for me. Fuel flow? Ken claimed that the mods would provide 180 hp at 7,500 feet thus I would, at about 14,000 feet have 75% power of the original engine or 180x.75 = 135 ponies in thinner air. He also stated I might need to install larger injector nozzles. That might need to be done. More ground runup tests need to be done to confirm that but initial perceptions indicate it may be necessary. If you want more ponies you have to feed them fuel. Scott, You are right. I confused MAP with compression ratio. Talking to Klaus at LSE I retarded the timing sensor magnets 5 degrees on the starter ring gear fly wheel to compensate for the high compression pistons.
