If memory serves me correct they are also larger than Slick mags. The Lancair short mounts leave little room for the larger mags so I opted for LSE. I have heard good things about the system, from the technical point of view. More recently I read some negative aspects regards support. I have found nothing to confirm the latter to date. Support has been fine. The LSE setup opens up the firewall area to enhance air flow. The CPU units are installed on the left front longeron andinside fuselage wall in the cabin adjacent to the rudder peddles. The other unit is mounted on the left underside of the header tank. It is cool there and out of the engine compartment. Bob Smiley N94RJ
