"So… you put in a standard camshaft.  Right?

Seriously,  the standard CAM in a Lycoming engine already has the torque maximized at 2500 RPM."

Very Interesting George,

The O360 F1A6 camshaft stock price was $2,700 as quoted to me. It is very spendy because it is uncommon as it is a left front prop governor configuration with a drive gear on the front.  The modified camshaft cost $700. A no brainer in my mind.  Also the timing on the camshaft drive gear was changed. I cannot explain how.
Another phone call to Ken at Lycon might be appropriate. Thanks for the information George.
