The rebuild was necessary due to a prop strike gear up = emergency landing for a takeoff flameout at 70 ft AGL. Pistons, pins = and camshaft were rejected because of corrosion so I installed 10.5 to 1 = pistons, modified camshaft to maximize torque at 2,500 rpm. dual LSE = ignition and flowed the heads by Lycon. Broke it in on the stand with a = new MT three blade scimiter composite prop. Runs smooooooooooth. Starts right now. Time will tell if the CDI = functions as advertised but I am impressed with starting and smoooth = operation.
