I need
the isolators, doughnuts, etc (the technical term is eluding me) for my
engine mounts. My existing mounts are sagging and cracked and need
to be replaced. This is a Glasair with O-320, but I would assume we
would be using the same or similar products. I know many of you are
using a certain brand that resists sagging better (I read a thread on this
a long time ago). Can someone point me to a good brand and source
for these? Thanks in advance...
Steve,
Aero Crafters is a parts supplier.
Consider These:
Vibration
Isolator
These are used on all
standard Lancair dynafocal engine mounts and are the small (2-1/4") diameter
type. Four are required per engine installation. Each configuration is best
suited to a specific engine/prop combination which relates to firmness.
Bolts/nuts not included. Hardware needed: 4 AN7-35A bolts with 4 AN363-720 all
metal stopnuts.
Maybe it would be best
to call them or check the Glasair web site(s).
