thunbs.db is a file generated by Windows. It contains thumbnails that will display when Windows Explorer opens the folder. If you delete it, Windows will regenerate it.
log files are text files that various programs generate to log events pertinent to those programs. Often they are virus cleanup logs.

Subject: [LML] File Opening Assistance
I received a CD from Lancair with several files that my computer does not
know how to open. Does anyone know what I should tell it?
They are:
thumbs.db
several files of type P65 ends in .p65
several files of type log ends in .log
Any clues you could provide would be appreciated. I have asked Lancair
about the "thumbs.db" file and they are as clueless as I am.
Thanks,
Bill Bradburry
