Hi Bill,

 

The files on your CD-ROM that end in .p65 are Pagemaker Version 6.5 files.   You need the Pagemaker program to read them, although there may be other applications that can also read them.

 

The files ending in .log are log files that could have been created by any number of applications.  Try opening one of them with your favorite text editor and see if you can find any clues within the plain text that might be in the file. 

 

I'd ignore the thumbs.db files which contain information about graphics files on the disk that isn't relevant to your needs.
