I agree with Martell. If you're tall, put the floorboard as low as
possible.  If you use the adjustable rudder pedals, you can mount them
so that your floorboard is very close to the fus bottom. I also made my
instrument panel out of aluminum and cut it with a fairly high bottom so
that I have enough knee room for me (6'2") as well as my brother (6'7").
