If you're tall, put the floorboard as low as possible. If you use the adjustable rudder pedals, you can mount them so that your floorboard is very close to the fus bottom. I also made my instrument panel out of aluminum and cut it with a fairly high bottom so that I have enough knee room for me (6'2") as well as my brother (6'7").
