The current 5 lb kit is over $320 while a new, lighter 5 lb kit due out in September will be closer to $300. The new cylinder will be thinner and will not have the multiple means of discharging. They don't have a number on the new unit but you can fax them at 510 297-6932 with your interest in the new low weight 5 lb kit and they promise to call for a credit card number as soon as they are ready to ship. They do make a smaller 3lb unit which might in fact be enough... One of these and a 3 lb handheld in the cabin seem prudent.
