Interesting, you guys. Interesting in the sense that so much of what you see
here is speculation. I can only tell you that a good friend flying a, God
save me, a Falco, gets right about a two (2) inch boost over ambient at
10,000 ft msl. He runs about 160 - 170 kts (I know this is accurate because
we fly formation some and he runs right with me).

In my Lancair, I've had problems getting my intake plumbing sealed
completely and don't see that much pressure recovery. I keep working on it
but when the weather is as nice as it has been lately, I'd rather just go
fly and to hell with scratching for the last inch of MP.
