The folks at AIG are saying that they do not intent to place such restrictions on Glasairs or other high performance kitplanes. Since a builder is permitted by the FAA to call a plane anything he chooses, perhaps we could choose the name "Glasair-wannabe" and slip in under the AIG radar. The situation is still very murky since there are no documented lists for compliance etc. More details when and if I get them. But I'll be flying soon and the clock is ticking. I have a broker looking elsewhere now for options less heinous. Robert M. Simon, ES-P N301ES
