I did like the increased roll rate 8.Long wing tips are much more stable although the the ailerons are much heavier in cruise 9 My stall speed at (dirty)54kts with long tips short tips 62kts Does anyone know how much more wing loading these tips create and how much it reduces the G 's it was desighed to take.I have heard one half G.And never go to red line in turbulance .In addition it is not recomened to do aerobatics. The only other thing that comes to mind is the additional float I get from long tips if I get a little to hot landing.I am certainly no test pilot, but I thought this might be interesting to the group.
