Rob Wolf asks about hooking up a flap position indicator.
Sounds like you have the standard gear setup. I've set up a MAC position sensor
in my installation witht he outback gear which uses a torque tube. I did this
after installing all the flap hardware which is what I'd recommend you do. Then
it's a matter of working out the trig for how much arm you need given the
component's rotation and the 1.2 inch indicator travel limit. In my case I
needed an attach point about 1/4 inch off the rotating shaft which meant I could
not tie in to the actuator horn. You should be able to tie in to one of your
bell cranks or you could use one of the rods but be mindful of the travel. I
also used model airplane components to rig the push rod to the position
indicator.
