The weather has cooled here by then for a nice morning flight. We are = just across the border from California. This location may appeal to = both North and Central California flyers as well as Oregon and Nevada = flyers. Most west coast flyers are familiar with the area while in transit = to/from Northwest EAA Fly-in in Arlington, Washington or to/from the BBQ = fly-in in Redmond. Don't forget your cameras as the view of Mt. Shasta = as you fly by is always fantastic. Medford is towered class 'D' airspace with an 8800' x 150' main runway = and an elevation of 1,330'. There are 3.5 FBO's, one of which is = adjacent to the terminal building. The terminal building has a nice = restaurant for our breakfast/lunch (Red Baron Restaurant and Lounge).
