Skip,
I put an article in the LNN a couple of years ago on this subject. See if
you can find it - the 9700 is great stuff and relatively easy to use. A
couple tips which are better explained in the article -
1. Use a gloved finger in tight spots where you can't get a brush to spread
the sealer.
2. Get a reflector light and shine it through the back side of the surfaces
you are coating. Pinholes will show up like stars and areas that are thinly
coated will look shadowy as the light will transluce more than where the
coating is thick enough.
3. With the 9700 if you just follow directions in the manual, you'll find
the sealer adheres beautifully to the surfaces.
If you can't find the article, let me know and I'll send you a copy.
Regards,
John Barrett
