The FAA does not require that only ONE person build the aircraft, only
that all the 51%+ builders be non-paid amateurs. If a couple buddies
or a father and son or a husband and wife want to team up to buy the
kit and build the plane, that's OK. The builder who does the greatest
amount of work may apply for the repairman's certificate.
