Do you have access to the actual checklists for the various Lancair aircraft?  I would love to see them.  I can't imagine that we have enough checkmarks in the right places.  I checked the FAA list and my Millennium Fastbuild ES was approved in June of '02.  That's with the fastbuild door, fastbuild tail, flaps and ailerons completed including hinges.
