This will use the MAC sensor, which has a travel of 1.2 inches full-scale, and an LED readout. I need to know how far the flap motor moves, i.e., the distance the jackscrew moves from full flap deflection to fully reflexed. Of course, I haven't built my flaps yet or I'd measure it myself. I'm installing the pushrods and bellcranks now. I'd like to mount the sensor, which will be affixed to the aft spar and connected to the central pivot arm (the one that is attached to the jackscrew aft of the aft spar, and to two pushrod forward of the aft spar) by a model aircraft pushrod/clevis arrangement. This means drilling a small hole in the pivot arm to attach the model airplane clevis. Can anyone help here? - Rob Wolf [Personally I'm waiting until my flaps are actually rigged to install the position sensor. I suspect there are too many variations in how the flap assembly actually gets installed from builder to builder to come up with reasonable numbers that would apply from one project to another. There are so many variables in the entire assembly, I think that the chances of any two of them being perfectly identical are slim to say the least. However, I'm anxious to hear other opinions on this subject as well. ] >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML homepage: http://www.olsusa.com/Users/Mkaye/maillist.html
