<Have you noticed aluminum dust streaks behind the outboard elevator hinges or, more likely in Australia>

Havent looked but will look into dust streaks as yet. My impression is the vibration is coming more from the front of the airframe. May be back to nose gear door source although it no longer hangs open as it did before (used to make a right old racket)

Would this wear be a source of noise. I haven't noticed any vibration in  the controls though...
