 Colyn,
This engine is widely used in the turbine certified/commercial
helicopter market.  The engine is modular meaning the compressor,
reduction gearbox, turbine, fuel control, governor, etc all have
different overhaul intervals.  So it is somewhat difficult to say what
 the total overhaul price is.

12 years ago we used to have our own in-house overhaul facility and the
costs at that time could range from $45K up to $250K depending on the
internal condition of each component.  Especially the turbine.  Overhaul
only covers the normal labor and "must replace" parts.   There are
always other parts that are needed but not allowed for in the "normal"
 category.

For an airplane application I think Soloy Conversions would be the best
source for this information.  I know it is very expensive relative to
the pistion engines being run now.  This is also why the Walter turbine
has been so popular.  Because of it's European "third world" origin and
 relative lower costs.

I noticed a few of these engines for sale at barnstormers.com

The Rolls Royce 250C20R engine has a max horsepower of 420hp and max
 continuous of 370hp.

Silver Eagle has also used this engine in coverting the Cessna P210 to
turbine.  You could get information on them from
 www.propjet210.com
