My priming and finishing work has progressed from the tail now to the wing
fillet area. What a chore and a half! I'm wondering about the quality of my
fit between the flap inboard edge and the wing fillet behind the rear spar. The
flap upper surface seems to be convex while the corresponding fuselage fillet
edge is straight. This means that with the flap trailing edge matched to the
fuselage point, the flap surface seems to be proud of the fuselage surface
further forward along the upper surface. (Sorry for the difficult description).
Has anyone else noticed this problem?
Also, is zero degrees of flap the same as "faired"? The manual talks about -5
degrees and I'm not clear if this means the flap is actually above the fuselage
fillet. Related to this, can someone explain what reflex is?
Thanks in advance,
Ed de Chazal
