To all Lancair owners/builders,
As most of
you know, I am in the Air National Guard. A few weeks ago They called and
offered me an opportunity to increase my retirement benefits. I will be retiring
from the military in 2 years. I have accepted that position. My last full day at
Lancair will be wed. the 10th of Aug.
It has been
a real pleasure to have been able to serve you in the process of building your
aircraft. I can honestly say that you all are the best folks I’ve ever had the
honor of working with and I will miss talking to you and working with you on
your projects. Thank you for all your support through the years, You’re a great
bunch of people.
With all
that said, there are going to be some changes here that will affect you
directly. The order desk will no longer be able to give any technical help, or
help in figuring out part numbers, as they are new to the company. If you don’t
know the part number you want to order, you will first have to talk to one of
the Tech’s and get that number. Pat Gonsoulin and Ross Connell will be the best
people to contact for 200/235/320/360 help and Justin will be the best for all
the other aircraft. My phone number will be available for a while to assist. I
hope you can give the new people all the same support that you gave me. They
will be in a huge learning curve.
I will miss you all greatly. Keep those airplanes in the air and fly
safely.
Sincerely,
Vern Pifer
