The guy in the hangar next to me when I lived in SoCal had a G III and his gear collapsed while taxiing off a runway when his Hydro system lost pressure. Seems the G III doesn't have any sort of down-lock other than hydraulic pressure. No good ol' over-center lock ups or nuttin'!! Can you say "very short three-bladed MT props are BAD"?
