My Garmin 396 arrived yesterday and boy is it nice!  I have only played around with it for a couple hours but am very, very impressed by the quality, completeness and ease of use.  The XM weather is the reason I bought it and I am not disappointed!  I'll be using it this weekend on my trip to OSH and will give a PIREP when I get back.

BTW, I purchased mine from Avionics Specialists, LLC, in Fort Collins, CO.  Apparently Jerry Stooksbury of AvSpec must rank with Garmin as my unit arrived much earlier than any of the big on-line guys are quoting.  If you want to talk to Jerry about getting you one you can contact him at +1 970 482 5600  or avspec@comcast.net.
