Many comisserations.  The nose leg on my LNC2 shimmied itself to death and folded up on takeoff on its first flight in 2000.  A year later it flew again with a new leg and has performed faultlessley ever since.  Shimmy is somewhere none of us should have to go!  Get those nose legs serviced regularly and make sure you have the most up to date mods installed.
