Finally after seven years of building, my Lancair IV N47SL made it's first
flight
with Peter Z at the controls.
After numerous high speed taxi tests, the first flight was orbiting the
airport at 2500'.
The next two flights were in the practice area designated by the Oakland
SOD.
Two items that need attention are a heavy left wing and excessive carbon
monoxide
in the cabin.
