I have a D10 upgraded to D10A in my LIVP and find it a great backup
instrument. I have flown with reference to this instrument exclusively
and find it stable and accurate. I do not have the external Magnetic
correction but the internal magnetic heading information is close enough
for a backup instrument. Mine has been in the aircraft for three years,
the screen in readable and it has not given me a moment of problems.
Hope this helps in the decision making.
