One more question about Oshkosh arrival. The notam says to exit the
runway after landing onto the sod. Is the sod in good condition? Are
there any bumps or holes that might cause a problem for an LNC2 with
the standard gear? I do not like to taxi on sod. I normally get help
and move the plane by hand if I have to cross or park on sod.

Hmmmmm, I never heard of landing on sod at OSH except for the ultralight field.  When you taxi to parking (not camping), the taxiways are paved.  You may be asked to taxi off the taxiway and onto grass to get to the parking spot - this is ok of the ground is not soft (a few years ago, a 360 with an MT prop sunk in enough to require prop repair).
