There have been a couple of L-IVP inflight incidents where the rubber ducting between the air filter plenum and the turbo had blown off (become detached, whatever), resulting in a sudden loss of engine power. I believe that in each case there was sufficient engine power available to make a safe landing. You might check the archives. That problem has seemed to go away with the advent of the spring loaded couplings (duct)
