We are happy to announce the first flight of Don Burmingham's, Garrett
powered Lancair IV-P was made today by Mike DeHate. The plane is powered by a
Garrett TPE331-6 and at 894 HP, we believe it is the most powerful Lancair
ever built and flown. The 30 minute first flight went smooth and without
problems. Follow up flights will indicate performance numbers and fuel
efficiency. The Garrett firewall forward package is offered by Advanced
Aviation, Inc.
