I transported my partially finished ES in the back of a Ryder truck. It was
relatively painless.
I placed the fuselage in cradles that I had made and rotated it so the 13+'
horizontal stabilizer fit in a rectangular space that was less than 102" wide
and 13 feet tall. I wrapped the surfaces in polyurethane plastic sheet for
protection against highway debris. The rear cradle for the fuselage also
formed the bottom half of the door so I could lock the contents for security
at my overnight stop.
I would be glad to talk to you or show more pictures of how it was done.
Worked out very well.
Did get some interesting looks on the
interstate................................
