Hi Guys:

Here are the seatbelt photo's sans upholstry in a L-IVP.  Actually you get more detail because the upholstry has been removed.

#1  Overall shot showing belts, inertia reel, and pivot.

#2  Closeup of pivot point and belt extension.

#3  Closeup showing inertia reel position and belt orientation.

#4  Closeup inertia reel.

#5  Wing root showing reel mounting bolt and C/F reinforcement.

I'm having a problem getting photo's to attach without growing to very large size.  Do my best, tho.   Regards, Bill Hogarty

P.S.  Someone on the list mentioned that  reversing the direction of the belts (note pivot point)  doubles the stress on the belt.  Granted - however it seems to be good enough for General motors and, also,  the belts I use actually survived my crash test
(+ 6 G  and - 3 G), without any problem.
