I checked into amsafe inflatable restraints. Lancair says they'll = have them shortly after Oshkosh. but the price is somewhere around = $2000 a seat. ....so that would be $8000. Also, a possible issue with these is that = it takes "< 10 secs" according to Amsafe for the bag to deflate. I = figure in a IV-P somewhere in those 10 secs is when the fire starts. I was wondering if anyone had successfully installed an inertial real = belt-on-each-shoulder style system in the IV-P. What are the issues with attach points etc.? B.A.S.
