Alain, Resistor and diode (cathode) to input connector pin 6 and the other end of the resistor to pin 13. Note that when you turn off the ignition connected to the VM system, you will probably see the tach time displayed (it does that on my VM EPI 800) in place of the RPM since there is no signal. That is why I will wire both ignition system's tach output thru a selector switch to the VM (in the future) - so that I can get a RPM display when only one ignition is running.
