Scott Smith at Skysmith has gotten involved and thanks to Emily et al at Lancair may have straightened out the mess. Seems that underwriters are prone to go off the deep end with little if any investigation. Imagine the additional cost to fly a Lancair rep to each builder several times each year to check out the work - that would kill the market in no time!
