I am thinking about replacing the LASAR system on my IO-540 with a Plasma III system from Lightspeed.  I noted on the Web site that the magnet placement is different for 8.5 compression engines than for "higher" compression engines.  Since mine has experimental 10 compression pistons, I was wondering if there was a problem.  Also, I am running relatively low temperature plugs (37) which I understand is required because of the high compression.  Is there a problem with the combination of high compression and the hotter spark in the Plasma III system?  Love to hear from anyone who is running high compression pistons and any kind of electronic ignition systme.
