I live in Southern Maine, just south of PWM. I am a private pilot and will be instrument rated in a couple of weeks. I also have my high performance and complex endorsements. I have just under 200 hours in a variety of aircraft including the ubiquitous Cessna 172 and Piper Warrior, Diamond Star DA40, Piper Arrow and Beechcraft Bonanza. I am a member of a flying club based at SFM, and I currently fly between 15 and 20 hours a month. I also have approximately 15 years experience working withcomposites and 8 years experience working with finishing products (hobby related, not work). I have a deposit on a Legacy FG kit. The balance is due on 5/31. I would like to take delivery in the early summer at the factory and do one week of the builder assist program. I would like to build the FG as an instrument airplane with a good standard instrument panel much like what Don Barnes did with his Legacy. Please get in touch if you are interested in partnering with me on this project. I am willing to do all of the building, though it would be nice and would certainly go faster if I had help.
