Brad,

I’m working = on a LIV-P.  I’ve spent some time working on the fuselage bottom = to get it shaped and smoothed.  I’m interested in getting the = Eastwood long boards as I know there’s still a long way to go to smooth the rest = of the plane. (Not to mention building it!)  What grit sandpaper do you = suggest I get with the boards?  Do I start with 60 grit on the long board = then step down to 100 or 120 before primer?  Should I be shaped enough to = start with 80 or 100 grit to start on with the long board?  Or do you even = need to go to that fine with the long board?  I know a lot depends on what you = are trying to accomplish, so I know a variety of grits may be best…but = do you have any pointers?

By the = way…I’ve seen your work.  It’s amazing.

Barry Knotts, = LIV-P, Conti-TSIO 550, Perrysburg, Oh.
