With all of this talk about sanding and epoxy, I thought I would chime in with my two cents.

I'm not a builder, I'm an owner/pilot with a 360. I am in the process of painting my airplane; in fact, we shot white today. I spent almost every day off (3 a week) and many evenings over the past three months sanding off my previous two paint schemes and preping for new paint.

I'm not sure if sanding sucks or blows. Either way, the next time I say I want to paint an airplane, somebody please smack me upside the head.

Having said that, I used the SuperFil and I thought it worked very well, and was very easy to sand. It is also easy to mix, although I thought it could have applied better. Overall, I give it high marks.

I also used West Systems epoxy - with both slow and fast hardeners and micro / flox. Its easy to mix with a scale and sands quite well after setting up.

These are the only items I have used so far, but for a non-builder/newbie point of view - there you go.
