Phil,
I landed my 360 on
grass just once because the strip was near my buddy's house and the next closest
paved field was 50 miles away.
The shaking was
horrible. I had the buddy drive the 50 miles so I could give him a
ride and not have to land there again.
The combination of
small hard tires and high landing speeds make Lancairs a poor
choice for a bush plane.
The basic structure
may survive the abuse but little else will. Consider electronics,
fasteners, glue joints and electrical connections. Parts that normally
wear will wear faster due to the vibration and extra dirt. Your prop tips
will erode and be subject to more and bigger rocks.
