I just bought an EPIRB. The one I purchased is an ACR AquaFix 406 PLB with Internal GPS. Here are a couple of sights for more information.

Thanks for all the good info on the ACK ELT. I'm thinking maybe I can disconnect the manual trigger because I now have a Personal Locator Beacon that would take the place of a manually activated ELT.
