My favorite is DuPont Corlar, a high-solids, epoxy
primer. It's easier to sand than the WLS, and it's available locally w/o
hazmat shipping problems. I've also used a Transtar product, which is
commonly sold in the auto paint stores, and it works pretty well,
too.
