When mine was certified in '98, the exact quote was "normal cruise" less
than...? 200kts?.  Anyway, I know for a fact that Bob Smiley and others
have been heckled and been forced to either change there a/c redline one
the a/s indicator or paint larger numbers.  

In Randy's specific case I know not what was discussed.  Will bounce
back if the ABDAR had any insightful discussion regarding letter sizes.
